"first winter" started coming together back in 2008 & early rough draft versions of it were sold at some shows, but the album was never properly completed & put out into the world until 2022 when shugE made the final changes to it while coming out of a musician hiatus of about a decade to be a force of nature once again for a proper 2022 release
